Illustration Recap 2018
Inktober 2018 | Paper-cut Artworks
Black ink on paper is my all time go to. For my third inktober experience, I chose to work with paper-cut technique in ink and gold pigment. Here are a few process images, details and a couple of finished illustrations.
Through My Window | Vector Illustrations
Fascinated by windows for the longest time, I have been engaging myself in giving it different meanings and qualities. This small self-initiated project is a part of my on-going quest to become comfortable with using vector illustration as a means of translation of facts and feelings.
36 Days of Type
For my very first attempt at the #36daysoftype challenge, I chose to draw and paint all the letters on anything but paper. Here, the idea was to explore various surfaces and lettering styles.
To go with a creative writing assignment, I hand-drew this series of illustrations one for each scene conveying a specific feeling. The white on black was to add a touch of illusion, strangeness and discovery.
Calendar 2019 | Vector Illustrations
I was commissioned to create 12 artworks for a calendar themed financial freedom. Each page of the calendar had a quote based on the theme and an illustration to go with it. Here are a few of those artworks.
Bedtime Chocolate Stories | Illustrated Storybook
The horrors of the chocolate industry are not newly discovered. The world knows about it but pretends it to be otherwise. Bedtime Chocolate stories is an attempt to make chocolate consumers aware of the dark side of chocolate and persuade them to make an informed choice.
Thank you for having a look!
